Degenerative Disease

Much of the research on degenerative disease shows that people with degenerative disease are also experiencing low levels of glutathione. Many researchers believe that the degenerative processes take place when the body is lacking the glutathione it needs to protect from degenerative damage. The following links will take you to original research showing the relationship between the degenerative disease and low glutathione. Further reading for a detailed description of the role of glutathione (GSM) in degenerative disease.

ALS (LOU GEHRIG'S DISEASE )

NOV 2, 2008: Link to references to several medical articles that reference glutathione and ALS. LINK

NOV 2, 2008: Link to 2006 discussion showing discussions where participants claim that glutathione were able to stop the progression of ALS. .As you will see from the discussions, patients who achieved these results often were met with skepticism from the medical community. We are making no claims as to what glutathione has, just a link to a discussion. Link to discussion on Glutathione and ALS

CANCER

Nov 2, 2008: Cancer-causing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) have been found to alter levels of glutathione compounds in experiments, which may alter the body’s resistance to certain types of cancer. Glutathione deficiencies have been linked to many forms of cancer. >Read articles on cancer and glutathione

NOV 2, 2008 Scientific article on Glutathione depletion and it's affects on cancer.
GLUTATHIONE (GSH) DEPLETION AND THE EFFECTS OF NUTRITIONAL
REPLETION OF GSH ON IMMUNOLOGIC FUNCTION IN MALIGNANCY

ABSTRACT: Intracellular glutathione (GSH) is a requisite for normal lymphocyte activation as
well as T cell and NK cytotoxicity (17). In various cancers, however, it has been
suggested that the tumor co-opts GSH, resulting in elevated tumor cell GSH, depleted
immune cell GSH, and compromised immunologic function (9, 12, 20-23). We
examined T cell glutathione levels in patients with various malignancies and the effect of
repletion of GSH with a patented nutritional preparation on immunologic numbers and
function. Read Article

PARKINSONS DISEASE

NOV 2, 2008: An amazing video showing the results of Glutathione injections on three parkinson patients, Within 15 minutes there were noticeable changes in their ability to walk. NOTE: at the time MAXGXL was not available. Glutathione injections put glutathione into the blood and with no transfer/absorption into the cells. MAXGXL is able to improve the body's natural ability to create glutathione and results in increased Glutathione within the cells, not just within the blood. LINK

NOV 4, 2008 Glutathione levels in cells are diminished in Parkinson's disease as well as other neurologic diseases. Infusion of Glutathione has been shown to improve many of the symptoms of Parkinson's disease in a clinical trial (Sechi, 1996). While it is not possible to predict reversal of Parkinson's symptoms, many patients have enjoyed improvement after the infusion of Glutathione in two months. I have seen improvement with shorter schedules and in combination with nutrient building blocks. Article by Tim Guilford MD
